In this chapter, children will be able to identify the words by their first letters as they take a look at the picture cards being displayed. Can they identify the word for each picture and its first letter?

This picture card activity chapter either improves students’ vocabulary or serves as a test of their vocabulary. Students will find out that each word is composed of letters, but for now, they will need to identify only the first letter of the word. Show these picture cards to students, then ask them to guess what they are. Use this sentence format: “[First letter] for….” Later, the teacher can describe each picture, one by one.
