This picture card activity chapter introduces children to people and occupations. They will learn to identify what the people in each of the pictures are. Can they guess what they are?

This chapter aims to add new words to students’ vocabulary. Students will first learn more about family, and then they will be introduced to a handful of occupations. Show a set of picture cards to students, one by one. Ask them to guess what they are before the voice clip plays. Then, repeat the voice clip with students. Finally, explain what the person in each picture is. In case the picture is an occupation, describe in short what it is, such as where he/she works and what he/she does.
